Mary Elizabeth Curry Hertz, 79, formerly of Camp Hill, passed away in Casselberry, Florida on Saturday, March 18, 2006, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Portland, Maine on December 19, 1926, to James W. Curry and Margie Turner Curry. Mary was a graduate of Deering High School in Portland. A beautiful woman of angelic quality, Mary is survived by her husband of 60 years, Erwin N. Hertz of Casselberry, Florida, a Veteran of World War II; a sister, Nancy Gilbert of Westbrook, Maine; three daughters, Stephanie Dess of St. Paul, Minnesota; Nancy Hertz (Bair), and Margie Cullen, both of Mechanicsburg; and a son, Michael Hertz of DeBary, Florida. Mary also leaves behind five grandchildren, Christie Elliott, Tim J. Cullen, Jonathan Bair, and Haley and Brandon Hertz, as well as three great-grandchildren. Throughout her life, Mary enjoyed gardening, was a champion league bowler, and entertained her family playing the piano. She will be deeply missed by family and friends. A celebration of her life was held at Leu Memorial Gardens in Winter Park, Florida on March 23rd.
